Florida Republicans' Death Wish

Do Florida Republicans have a death wish? Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans just won a landmark victory in which Republicans carried blue bastions like Miami-Dade and Palm Beach County for the first time in decades. Governor Ron DeSantis defeated his opponent, former Governor Charlie Crist by a 19% margin, while heavily outspent U.S. Senator Marco Rubio trashed his Democrat challenger, Congresswoman Val Demings by a solid 16%.
Putting aside the Republican Legislature’s decision to essentially exempt Governor Ron DeSantis from the current state law which prohibits those holding state office from pursuing federal office without first resigning from their state office.
The special session of the Florida Legislature is considering “reforms” to the state election law which indisputably would mandate the use of voting machines and Arizona-style vote tabulators, prohibit the hand-counting of paper ballots, lose the signature verification rules for mail-in ballots, and substantially expand the forms of identification required to register to vote—making the voter registration of non-U.S. Citizens far easier.
Even more offensive are amendments which limit challenges to any election result to election board officials, entirely eliminating citizen standing, input, and oversight. These “reforms” were largely generated by various supervisors of election who deeply resented calls for audits of election results when many substantial and legitimate irregularities were identified in the 2020 and 2022 elections in various counties.

So far, the Republicans Leadership in the Florida Legislature has shown no indication that they will reconsider these dangerous "reforms." If they move forward, Republicans may have seen their last statewide victory and the Californication of Florida will truly begin.

Absolutely Roger knows, he's been in politics close up and personal for a long time and his book on the Bush family is impossible to put down once you start it. If anyone reading this substack page hasn't read Rog's book on who killed Kennedy and the other one on the Bush family, boy oh boy are you missing two books that should be in your library.
Secondly, there's a lot to dislike about DeSantis and many of his bills were not what he claimed; they were very weak.
I wouldn't be bragging about Rubio winning, he's just another neo-con Trotskyite in it for money. He was awarded by the Aspen Institute who was once headed by Maurice Strong who gave us United Nations Agenda 21/30. He also has spoken at the CFR. The establishment said in 2016 that if they couldn't get Jeb, they'd take Rubio. Look up his voting record. He's very liberal, and has signed onto bills we would never approve of. Rubio was the fellow who gave the 60th vote to allow Obama to fast track trade bills which is congress surrendering its power to the executive branch for 6 years. And he loves amnesty and refugees. In 2015, Rubio introduced an immigration bill which would have allowed for an unlimited increase in Muslim migration.

Worst Attendance Record - Rubio's attendance record for votes is one of the worst in Senate history. His seat is regularly empty for floor votes, committee meetings and intelligence briefings. He even missed the vote on Obama's Omnibus bill which he probably would have voted for anyway, although he stated the outcome was predetermined.
That outrageous $1.1 Trillion Omnibus Bill funds the most horrendous programs, which also locks in huge spending increases!
• funds entirely Obama's 2012 executive amnesty for “DREAMers”—or illegal immigrants who came to the country as minors and has granted around 700,000 illegal aliens with work permits, as well as the ability to receive tax credits and federal entitlement programs
• funds sanctuary cities (remember Kathryn Steinle)
• funds all refugee programs
• funds illegal alien resettlement
• quadruples H-2B foreign worker visas
• funds the release of criminal aliens
• funds tax credits for illegal aliens, and much more
There's tons more, but ask me about Byron Donalds who is promoting digital currency with the Stalinists in the Dem Party and he's also promoting a Constitutional Convention like his state's governor. These people are players, operators, insiders, establishment. Being Republican certainly doesn't mean they're any good or have their constituents' desires at heart.
As far as I can tell, there are only 5 or 6 people in all of Congress who are true Constitutionalists.
I can’t stand DeSoros. Mike Lindell spoke with DeSoros and told him there was voter fraud in Florida and the machines needs to be removed. DeSoros didn’t want to hear it and dismissed any further conversations with Mike Lindell. I guessing he may have cheated to win this second time. I want to find out who the state legislature currently are and voting like the communists. We need to vote these slime balls out and replace them with American First people.
