I was at least relieved that they walked back from the decision to amend the dress code for him. One thing I always notice is the difference between the clothes people are wearing and the spaces they are in. Look at the architecture of the Senate building. Now look at Sen. Fetterman. If they were going to change the Senate dress code to allow that kind of attire, then to be consistent, they should also re-model the Senate chamber to look like the interior of a COSTCO.
I will say, Bannon’s style has improved since the 2016 campaign days. I don’t mind the double black button up, but I’m a fan of layering when dressing in casual or even business casual attire. Good layering makes everything less casual. Black is slimming and hides shape when on camera. Bannon has a belly so it makes sense he prefers to wear black on top. When it comes to men, they can get away with a much more monotone wardrobe. I think it’s more difficult to disguise a part of our body we don’t want to draw attention to if wearing patterns and/or colors.
I’m just glad Bannon doesn’t wear T-shirts and hoodies like so many men do these days. It’s fine for the gym, at home, a sporting event, etc., but adult men in hoodies outside of these listed places just screams lazy, gamer, midlife crisis, and/or unemployed.
Kash Patel has upped his game with some great takes on the suit and the suit jacket with jeans combo. I also love when he rocks a modern tailored suit with a great sneaker. He can pull it off and he does.
